Punta Cana is a town belonging to the Higuey province on the eastern part of the Dominican Republic. It has many white sand beaches, and over 55 miles of coastline. It is perhaps the most American-like city, with upscale malls, fast food chains and large night clubs and casinos. It would be a seamless adjustment for an expat to move here, and US Dollars are seen as more common that the Dominican Peso. It is also great for real estate investment at this time.
